Executive Summary
Healthi+Humans , a DBA of BioMedCare Diagnostics, is a public charity founded by Jocelyne and Mayah Martin, inspired by the loss of Mayah's father to an untreated medical condition. Their mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of socio-economic status, receives quality, private, and compassionate healthcare services. After completing phlebotomy school, the mother-daughter duo established Healthi+Humans to provide Southern California residents with preventative, diagnostic, and on-site testing services. The organization focuses on supporting the uninsured, underinsured, medically needy, and underserved populations at no or low cost.
Although BioMedCare Diagnostics was officially founded in May 2024, it has already garnered significant support from the medical community, including prominent partnerships and donors. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of the Educational Resource Project while awaiting official charity status, Healthi+Humans has quickly mobilized to start their harm reduction services. Recently, they received an in-kind donation of supplies valued at over $10,000, enabling them to launch these critical services within months of the organization's formation.
